After his death in 1984, the designer took over the company and since 1989 the firm has been present at the Gaudí Show in Barcelona, and at the Pasarela Cibeles in Madrid to present its collections, as well as at international shows in Berlin, Copenhagen, New York and Paris. Subsequently, the company decided to replace the traditional Esteve brand with Sita Murt, and has opened its own stores and an outlet in Igualada. In 2008 it added a line of accessories and accessories and in 2010 a first collection of shoes, as well as the opening of its own store in Paris in May 2010, sponsored by Victoria Abril.
