A spool of silver-colored metallic thread from the late 19th to the early 20th century, from an unknown ethnographic region of Lithuania.The wooden base of the spool bears the stamp MADE IN FRANCE.Note – the representative photograph shows several museum artifacts: AT 632/a–d; AT 633.The Lithuanian national movement encouraged the collection and study of peasant clothing, and its elements were later used in the creation of national costumes and depicted in art.
