Импульсная модуляция PIG источников ионов

Представлены результаты исследований модуляции разряда в источнике ионов Пеннинга (PIG ion source – PIGIS). Модуляция осуществлялась путем генерации импульсных полей при разряде накопительной емкости через плоские и конусные (воронкообразные) спирали (антенны), являвшиеся катодами PIGIS. Разряд происходил в остаточной атмосфере водорода при давлениях 3–10 Па. Проанализированы особенности данного способа модуляции, его преимущества и недостатки. Кратко перечислены возможности различных технологий для реализации данного способа модуляции в различных PIGIS. Уточнены полученные ранее результаты в плане необходимой длительности импульса для различных давлений. Обсуждается влияние конфигурации электродовPIGIS на его работу.
