Zeinab Saria Zviad Gamsakhurdia - Translator of American Poetry

The work is written about Zviad Gamsakhurdia, as a translator of American poetry. A small volume of a compilative review shows that the translation and research of American poetry took place in the twentieth century in Georgia. The main issue of the work is to define the features of the translations of Zviad Gamsakhurdia. Using the methodology of comparative study of literature and synchronous reading of various authors' texts, I find their differentiating features. The work concludes that Zviad Gamsakhurdia - the translator considers individual signs of Zviad Gamsakhurdia - the researcher and creates the translation based on them.
