Friedman Benda is pleased to announce iThongo by Andile Dyalvane, unveiling in New York on April 29, 2021. An extensive collection of sculptural ceramic seating, iThongo is Dyalvane’s second solo exhibition with the gallery and the second collaboration with Southern Guild. In homage to his ancestors, this body of work traveled in its entirety to Dyalvane’s rural homestead in Ngobozana, Eastern Cape, before being presented at the Southern Guild and presently at Friedman Benda.
