Impacto de la Revista UIS Ingenierías en la base bibliográfica Scopus: 2013-2018

En esta nota editorial se presenta un análisis de las citas recibidas por los artículos publicados en la Revista UIS Ingenierías(RUI), desde documentos indexados en la base bibliográfica Scopus, durante el periodo 2013-2018. La información se recolectó mediante búsquedas avanzadas por operadores, clasificación, tratamiento e interpretación estadística de datos. Este análisis permitió identificar el impacto de RUI en la base bibliográfica Scopus y distribución geográfica de los autores que citan a la Revista UIS Ingenierías, desde los documentos indexados en esa base. Los resultados del ejercicio que se muestra en esta carta editorial evidencian que en los últimos años la Revista UIS Ingenieríasse ha ido posicionando como una fuente de difusión del conocimiento científico relevante
