Pendampingan Pembuatan Herbarium Basah di Lingkungan Bagik Polak Kabupaten Lombo Barat

Herbarium is one way to preserve plants using certain techniques. One type of herbarium is a wet herbarium that uses FAA solution or alcohol in the preservation process. The purpose of this service is to increas participants’ understanding and practical skills in collecting, preparing, anf caring for plants specimens for making wet herbarium. The method use is experiential learning which involves training sessions and community mentoring. Making this wet herbarium is done by preserving the specimen in 70% alcohol presertative liquid in a clear bottle. The result of this activity is that the community is able to make a wet herbarium independently, besides that the community realizes that is important to capture biodiversity, one which is by making a wet herbarium. This herbarium making assistance is well received by the local community and can be used as a study material and aesthetic benefit.
