Analysis of The Effect of Leverage and Liquidity on Financial Distress of Companies Using the Altman Z-Score Approach (Empirical Study of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk)

This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of leverage and liquidity on corporate financial distress using the Altman Z-Score approach at PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk. The period used as an observation in this study is the period when the company experienced a crisis, those are the 2020-2024 quarter III period. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression test with SPSS 26 software. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously, leverage and liquidity have a significant effect on the financial distress of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk. Partial research results, namely: 1) Leverage has a significant negative effect on the financial distress of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk and 2) Liquidity has a significant positive effect on the financial distress of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk.
