Realm of 3D exoscope, the future of micro-neurosurgery: an initial experience in department of neurosurgery, Govt. Kilpauk Medical College and Hospital

View through CrossRef
The introduction of the Zeiss Kinevo 900 3D exoscope at Govt. Kilpauk Medical College marks a significant milestone in our neurosurgical practice. This cutting-edge technology offers unparalleled visualization capabilities, enhancing surgical precision and efficiency. In this presentation, we share our initial experience with the Zeiss Kinevo 900, highlighting its utility across a range of neurosurgical procedures. From intricate spinal surgeries to delicate cranial interventions, the exoscope has revolutionized our approach, providing stereoscopic depth perception and high-definition imaging. We present a model case of a CP angle epidermoid cyst, a left frontal glioma and an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. The 3D Exoscope coupled microscopy is a very elegant solution for visualization in Micro-Neurosurgery.
