The skirt comes over the quite smooth waist in front like a bodice, giving the impression of a princess's dress. The edges of the bodice are covered by a fichu set of plain bengaline silk. The same silk forms the side sash ends, the shoulder bow as well as the pleated ruff. Cloth coat lined with Indian silk; the short tippet edged with a thick ruffle of fancy feathers. Velvet Hat.
