Dress, with neckpiece, metallic silver vinyl, designed by Gareth Pugh, Britain, 2011. Full length fitted evening dress of tabbed silver vinyl. The dress has long sleeves and is fitted from the neck to the thigh where the skirt flares out into a full circle with a train. There is a zipper fastening down the centre back. Inner arms are fitted with panels of black stretch fabric. The dress is lined with black and white geometric fabric designed by Gareth Pugh. The outer layer is made from bands of silver vinyl cut into tabs and machine stitched onto black fabric ground. Rectangular collar neckpiece of tabbed silver vinyl. The neckpiece opens at centre back with three hook and eye fastenings, the collar is designed to sit high under the chin. Lined with black synthetic fabric with a neoprene Gareth Pugh label stitched in the centre. With rigilene boning at either end. Machine stitched cut vinyl; Cut vinyl with synthetic fabric neoprene.
