A. Rylland: Rebecca.

Three identical copies of the same postcard, including a reproduction of the painting by the British artist Henry Ryland (1856-1924), depicting the figure of Rebecca Amanu standing next to a well, holding in one hand a rope and the other hand - a jug of water. Each of the three copies of this postcard is printed in other shades of black and white (bluish, black and white, and brown-sepia). Apparently, these are prints from the beginning of the second decade of the nineteenth century. On the back of the postcards was printed the trademark of "Lebanon" Publishing. These postcards were not used and were removed from the collection of "Lebanon" postcards donated to the National Library in 1939 by the publisher's editor-in-chief, Mr. Benjamin Mintz, Warsaw.
