The organizers of the annual Berlin international tourist exhibition-fair held in Germany on March 7-9, 2023, imposed a strange "censorship" towards the Armenian side, sending a letter to the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia on January 4th, 2023. With that letter they informed the Republic of Armenia that it was "strictly forbidden" to carry out any advertising of a political nature, even if it was done in the form of art and culture. It is not difficult to guess who provoked the organizers of the event to come up with such an absurd warning. A number of German Armenologists got dissatisfied with this discrimination, in particular, the head of the "Recognition" working committee, Prof. Tessa Hoffmann, President of the German-Armenian Society, Dr. Raffi Kandyan and Dr. Jürgen Gispert spoke against this censorship.
