La trayectoria teatral de Manuel Linares Rivas

En este estudio se analiza la trayectoria teatral de Manuel Linares Rivas atendiendo a su compromiso social. Se sostiene que el autor mantiene una coherencia ideológica a lo largo de toda su carrera como dramaturgo a favor de la ruptura del pacto entre la nobleza y la gran burguesía. Al mismo tiempo, se muestra defensor de una alianza entre la pequeña burguesía y el proletariado. Teniendo en cuenta también su afán renovador en el terreno de la puesta en escena, se propone la adscripción de Linares Rivas a la nómina de autores novadores del primer tercio del siglo XX.
