PURPOSE: Step-by-step instructions for submitting WGS microbial pathogen sequence data to NCBI and to the NCBI Pathogen Detection portal. SCOPE: to provide a standardized protocol for NCBI submission for use by any other laboratory submitting WGS data for species under active surveillance within NCBI’s Pathogen Detection. (This includes GenomeTrakr, NARMS, Vet-LIRN laboratories and other networks).
