TARAS SHEVCHENKO IN CHATGPT

B a c k g r o u n d . The modern world demands from scientists new approaches to the organization of educational activities. This is caused not only by the rapid development of information technologies, but also by the generation of modern youth, their different vision, thinking and perception. A student can, without leaving home, learn new things, attend online events in any country in the world. It gives freedom, promotes development and encourages learning. A modern teacher who is not limited by boundaries and can choose and involve various tools in the educational process. The challenge for the teacher today is to interest the student and keep his attention, encourage him to read, study, and teach him to think critically. After all, anyone can get lost in the boundless information space. The task is difficult for the teacher, because he must keep up with the times, be knowledgeable and be able to work with the latest applications that are offered in the Internet space, in particular, know robotic programs that perform tasks instead of a person and make the learning process seem easier. Is it really so? We will try to answer the questions in this article.
M e t h o d s . In the article, talk about ChatGPT 3.5 and its use in education, in particular with foreign students, in particular with philologists. Using the example of Taras Shevchenko, we will show the advantages and disadvantages of using the latest technologies in educational activities, in particular, in classes with non-native speakers.
R e s u l t s . After getting acquainted with the scientific research on Taras Shevchenko, trying to use the ChatGPT 3.5 artificial intelligence program in a class with philology students who have foreign citizenship, that is, after testing the newest model in the educational process, we came to the conclusion that in the process of working with answers from the chat, the teacher supplements, corrects the answers and guides the student to master and understand the philosophy of life and work of Taras Shevchenko.
С o n c l u s i o n s . The analyzed materials proved that the use of the ChatGPT model in the educational process of non-communicative has certain caveats – the use of artificial intelligence technologies requires prior training of the teacher and the implementation of instructions and norms. Without the support of a teacher, it will be extremely difficult for a student to understand the figure of Taras Shevchenko and thus deepen his knowledge about Ukraine
