China's Petroleum Industry - An Expanding Market For Equipment Suppliers?

The basic intent of this presentation is to provide the audience with a status report on the Petroleum Industry of the People's Republic of China. There are currently many misconceptions about China's ability to locate and produce her own crude oil and gas. This report will hopefully serve produce her own crude oil and gas. This report will hopefully serve as an attempt to help clarify some of these misunderstandings. The presentation will cover the recent history of oilfield development in presentation will cover the recent history of oilfield development in China-1950s to 1977. Current known oilfields with characteristics of the fields will also be discussed.
