La recepción de Hegel en Edgardo Albizu: tiempo, concepto existente y consumación especulativa

View through CrossRef
This article systematically reconstructs the reception that the Argentinian philosopher Edgardo Albizu (E.A.) has developed of G. W. F. Hegel's philosophy throughout his work. It seeks to identify the unitary conceptual thread running through his reading –time as existing concept (der daseyende Begriff)– and to show how, from this axis, E.A. receives, interprets, reorders, criticises and prolongs the totality of the Hegelian corpus. The exposition follows a genealogical division into four circuits. The first inscribes Hegel within the collective project of German Idealism since the Ältestes Systemprogramm, read as an internally differentiated historical unity; here Hegel performs a corrective function aimed at sustaining the sovereignty of reason vis-à-vis the "gigantomachy" of freedom and time. The second articulates a structural reading of the Phenomenology of Spirit based on the categorial pair functional time / real time (FT/RT) and of the six temporal moments in which the progression of the figures of consciousness is organized. The third interprets the Science of Logic as "absolute semantics" on the basis of the fourfold distinction principle/origin/initiation/beginning and of the sign-status of being and nothing as operative proto-signs. The fourth rereads the objective and absolute philosophy of spirit as a device of de-temporalisation or redemption of time in the form of tilgen, up to its consummation in the history of philosophy. It is contended that Albizu’s operation upholds a robust hermeneutic hypothesis –the Phenomenology is a logic of time and the Logic is the Phenomenology read in reverse– and that his Hegel-reception distances itself simultaneously from teleological (Kroner), anthropological (Kojève) and onto-finite (Marcuse, Heidegger) readings, opening up instead the post-Hegelian task of thinking a novelty no longer absorbed by absolute knowing.

Hegel's philosophy throughout his work.
It seeks to identify the unitary conceptual thread running through his reading –time as existing concept (der daseyende Begriff)– and to show how, from this axis, E.

receives, interprets, reorders, criticises and prolongs the totality of the Hegelian corpus.
