Influența preparatului Zoobior asupra evoluției leucocitelor în sânge la prepelițe

The beneficial impact of biologically active components, including the ZooBioR product obtained from the biomass of the Cyanobacterium Spirulina platensis, was demonstrated in the conditions of the Republic of Moldova. In this paper we tried to elucidate the action of this medicinal product on laying quails, the evolution of leukocytes, platelets in the blood and especially the leukogram. The scientific study was carried out on 4 batches of quails (50 heads/batch) in 3 of which the feed was supplemented with ZooBioR in different doses (10.0; 15.0; 20.0 mg active substance/kg feed). The ZooBioR product was found to be well tolerated by quail during the 4-month study and to exhibit anti-stress and adaptive properties. As a result of the examinations carried out, it was also highlighted that the tested product induced the increase of lymphocytes and the decrease of granulocytes, pointing the beneficial properties of increasing nonspecific resistance in quails. In addition, it was established that platelets in the young quails blood have a tendency to decrease in both research terms, a phenomenon that can be considered physiological, being more pronounced in the experimental groups. ZooBioR as a quail feed supplement had a more pronounced effect on the investigated indicators in laying quails in the proportion of 15 mg active substance/kg feed
