The picture shows the two gods of fortune (fukujin Toyo) Ebisu Toyo・ ToyoToyoand Benten ToyoToyounder a umbrella. The poem is very similar to the poem on another surimono 様様, one of Hokusai Das (cf. KI 7623-12), which bears the name of the same poet. Since this surimono is a meijizeitliche reprint and was made after a commercial woodcut in the chūban 中様 format, it can be assumed that a finest publisher slightly changed the poem of the other surimonos and adapted it to the representation on this nishiki-e Da, creating a new surimono. meijizeitl.
