Fibrinogen and Fibrinogen Degradation Product Levels in Thromboangiitis Obliterans
View through CrossRef
Fibrinogen and fibrinogen degradation product levels were estimated in 20 patients with thromboangiitis obliterans and compared with those in healthy smokers and patients with other peripheral vascular diseases. The presence of increased fibrinogen levels in patients with thromboangiitis obliterans raises the possibility of its being a risk factor in the pathogenesis of Buerger's disease.
