Analiza użytkowania mieszaniny biogazu i gazu LNG lub gazu ziemnego w urządzeniach przystosowanych do spalania gazu grupy S

View through CrossRef
The article presents the results of a study aimed at investigating the possibility of using a mixture of pre-treated agricultural biogas and LNG or group E natural gas in equipment adapted to burn group S natural gas. The tests have been performed on the appliances serving preparation of meals and hot water production for hygienic and heating purposes. A brief description of the gas appliances selected for testing were presented. The tested appliances had burners and gas automation have been adapted to burn group S natural gas. A gas cooker and a gas hob (equipped with two different types of burners) and two gas boilers were selected for testing. One of the boilers was equipped with a pre-mix burner and had a closed combustion chamber, while the other boiler had a kinetic-diffusion burner and an open combustion chamber. The tested appliances reflected the most popular designs of domestic gas appliances in their group, used both in Poland and in other European countries. The tests were carried out by supplying the appliances selected for testing with G25.1 gas (G25.1 gas is the reference gas for group S natural gas) and two mixtures that corresponded to the minimum and maximum energy parameters of group S natural gas. The article presents approximate percentage composition of gases used during tests and their energy parameters. The research was focused on checking the following operating parameters and the safety of tested appliances: rated heat input, thermal efficiency, combustion quality, ignition, flame stability and transfer. The article contains an analysis of the test results in detail relating to the obtained values of thermal loads and efficiency.
