عملة لها وجهان. على الرغم من إخفاء علم الإخفاء يخفي وجود رسالة ولكنه ليس آمنًا تمامًا. لا يُقصد به أن يحل محل التشفير ولكن يُقصد به تكميله.الهدف الرئيسي من هذه الطريقة هو تقليل عدد LSBs التي يتم تغييرها عند استبدالها بقطع الأحرف في الرسالة السرية. سيؤدي ذلك إلى تقليل التشويه (التشويش) الذي يحدث في وحدات البكسل في صورة stego ونتيجة لذلك يزيد من مناعة صورة stego ضد الهجوم المرئي.أظهرت التجربة أن الطريقة المقترحة تعزز تقنية إخفاء المعلومات بشكل جيد ولا يوجد فرق بين صورة الغلاف وصورة stego التي يمكن رؤيتها بواسطة نظام الرؤية البشرية (HVS) ، لذلك يمكن اعتبار هذه الطريقة ناجحة ويمكن اعتماده في مجال إخفاء المعلومات
