Studio sui forestierismi nel Shengjing Zhijie

L’opera Shengjing Zhijie redatta nel 1636 dal missionario gesuita portoghese Emmanuel Diaz Junior è forse la versione in cinese più antica e completa di scritti su dottrina cristiana e testi biblici. Il testo avrà una notevole risonanza nelle successive traduzioni della Bibbia in cinese. In questo articolo attraverso l’analisi lessicologica diamo un breve resoconto dell’evoluzione del vocabolario di argomento teologico-religioso nel corpus dei missionari gesuiti in Cina, da Michele Ruggieri (1543-1607) a E. Diaz J. (1574-1659), ponendo in rilievo i neologismi del Shengjing Zhijie, allo scopo di valutare il contributo dell’autore alla formazione del lessico cattolico nella lingua cinese.
