Vyvinuli jsme simulátor virtuálního pacienta, který se skládá z figuríny pacienta, která dýchá, makety přístroje ECMO, která se chová jako reálný přístroj a webového simulátoru, který jednak ukazuje co se děje uvnitř pacienta, posílá a přijímá údaje z makety přístroje ECMO a posílá a přijímá údaje z figuríny virtuálního pacienta. Matematický model za simulátorem řídí dýchání figuríny. Máme implementovaný model přenosu krevních plynů a webový simulátor ukazuje vliv selhávání plic a srdce na koncentrace rozpuštěných krevních plynů v těle a vliv léčby přístroje ECMO.
