On October 20-21, 2023 Saratov State University hosted the International Conference “Modern Speech Communication in Different Areas of Society” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Olga B. Sirotinina. 75 scientists from 28 universities of the Russian Federation and abroad participated in the conference with their reports. The conference reflected the current level of scientific understanding of the “communication” continuum and allowed to identify patterns of functioning of the language system in different areas of society.
