Uno Jonsson born 1912-02-10 in Nyhem. The parents Karl Johan and Erika had three children. Erika died in the Spanish Sick when Uno was seven years old. Karl Johan married Emmy Jönsson and they had seven children. Karl Johan worked at the railway as a raller. Uno met his prospective wife Hulda Andersson in the mid-1930s while working in Slussfors. They settled in Lake Mårdsjön, SaxDe and Uno continued to work in the forest during the weeks. In the late 1930s, they married and soon changed their name because a sister-in-law also came to be Hulda Jonsson, therefore Jonsson was exchanged for Rampling. Eventually, Uno started working for SJ and the family moved to Storbergen where he worked as a bank guardian. In the autumn of 1953, the family left inland and moved to Gimonäs station house just outside Umeå: The family now consisted of four boys born in 1940, 1941, 1943 and 1953. Uno was hit hard by the flu (Asian) that later passed into severe asthma. The disease deteriorated and he had to stay in hospital periodically. The last time he was at the sanatorium in Hällnäs. He was always in a good mood and through his singing and guitar playing he pleased many people who were staying at the sanatorium. Uno enjoyed spexing and on a card he plays a doctor. On May 9, 1965, Uno died at the sanatorium in Hällnäs, only 53 years old. Tasks: Tommy Rampling, Seals, 1992.
