Tinea incognito merupakan infeksi dermatofit yang gambaran kliniknya telah mengalami perubahan dan menyerupai penyakit kulit lainnya. Disebabkan karena penggunaan steroid atau calcineurin inhibitor akibat adanya misdiagnosis atau gambaran awal yang tidak jelas. Penatalaksanaan tinea incognito adalah dengan menghentikan pemberian steroid dan memberikan pengobatan antifungal. Dilaporkan satu kasus tinea incognito yang disebabkan pemberian kortikosteroid topikal pada seorang wanita 32 tahun , diterapi dengan ketokonazol oral dan mikonazol topikal memberikan perbaikan.
