Czarny humor w prozie Michała Choromańskiego - wybrane przykłady

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest wykazanie związków twórczości Michała Choromańskiego z groteską. Właściwym przedmiotem zainteresowania jest jednak szczególnie jeden rodzaj groteski, a mianowicie komizm/czarny humor, dzięki któremu powieściowa rzeczywistość prozy Choromańskiego w pełni zyskuje groteskowy wymiar. Jeśli przy lekturze prozy autora Zazdrości i medycyny nie uwzględni się rewolucyjnej wrażliwości (której wyznacznikiem był ironiczny, estetyzujący i niejednokrotnie nacechowany okrucieństwem stosunek do unaocznionego w danym utworze cierpienia), pozostanie ona niezrozumiała. Impuls o charakterze antysentymentalistycznym kierował artystę w stronę czarnego humoru, dzięki któremu piętnował nie tylko w przestarzałe konwencje literackie, ale również świat pozorów, zakłamania, sztuczności i hipokryzji.
