Modulated Magnetic Properties of Nd-Doped Cofe2o4/Coxfey for Enhanced Microwave Absorption Performance

View through CrossRef
Among the different strategies that are being developed to meet the higher requirements for the performance of wave-absorbing materials, the modification of traditional materials through doping or compounding is more attractive. In this study, Nd-doped cobalt ferrite (NCF) was prepared via the method of sol-gel self-combustion, followed by conversion into Nd-doped CoFe2O4/CoxFey (NCF-400, NCF-500, and NCF-600) composites under different reduction temperatures. Furthermore, the effects of the doped Nd and the reduced phase Cox Fey on the magnetic properties and wave absorbing performance of CoFe2O4 were investigated in detail. The results show that Nd-doped CoFe2O4/Cox Fey composites exhibit tunable magnetic properties and wave absorbing performance. The doping of Nd effectively increases the magnetocrystalline anisotropy and coercivity, resulting strong natural resonance and increased magnetic loss. While the electromagnetic properties of composites are further improved due to the exchange coupling effect between CoFe2O4 and Cox Fey . This leads to enhanced wave absorption performance of the composites. The maximum reflection loss of NCF-500 is -63.6 dB at 2.56 mm and the maximum effective absorption bandwidth is 4.0 GHz. It effectively improves the impedance matching of the material and broadens the effective absorption bandwidth, which is of great significance for the preparation of high-performance wave-absorbing materials.
Title: Modulated Magnetic Properties of Nd-Doped Cofe2o4/Coxfey for Enhanced Microwave Absorption Performance
Description:
The maximum reflection loss of NCF-500 is -63.
6 dB at 2.
56 mm and the maximum effective absorption bandwidth is 4.
0 GHz.
It effectively improves the impedance matching of the material and broadens the effective absorption bandwidth, which is of great significance for the preparation of high-performance wave-absorbing materials.
