AI for Cyber Security: Automated Incident Response Systems

View through CrossRef
In the fast evolving cybersecurity field, organizations worldwide are discovering and addressing network security events. Cyber dangers are complicated and continually changing, thus human involvement and response are no longer enough. Automatic incident response systems employing AI are becoming more important for network security and cyberattack prevention. The study examines AI-driven automated incident response systems and network security. AI algorithms, machine learning, and threat intelligence help these systems detect, analyze, and address security incidents fast. Through automated decision-making and orchestration, AIpowered systems can detect and manage security breaches, respond faster, and limit cyberattacks on enterprises' networks and operations. Advanced threat identification, adaptive reaction, and smart decision-making are needed for AI-driven automated incident response systems. These systems use supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning to evaluate massive volumes of data, discover anomalies, and identify security issues. AI-powered systems can quickly adapt to new cyber threats by learning from new data and threat scenarios. This paper examines AIdriven automated incident response systems in network security environments and its pros and cons using literature and case studies. The results show these technologies increase threat detection, incident response, and network security. Ethics, laws, and future research on AIpowered network security are also covered. It emphasizes responsible and transparently deploying automated incident response systems to secure digital assets and defend against cyber threats in a globalized society.
