View through CrossRef
Abstract Background:As a relatively complete system, the eco-cultural protection areas (ECPAs) contain material and intangible cultural heritage. At present, most of the domestic research on the construction and development of the eco-cultural protection areas is still in its initial stages, and the identification and analysis techniques for the cultural landscapes still need to be practiced and explored. Aim:The purpose of this study is to establish a reasonable analysis method and system for identifying the cultural landscape in the cultural-ecological reserves and to provide a basis for the scientific protection of the cultural ecological reserves. Method:The method that was implemented in this study is based on the landscape’s ecological security pattern of the related theory according to the preset area of the various ecological factors that were identified in an ecologically sensitive area and cultural-ecological reserve. This allows for finding the important ecological plaques and important ecological corridors, thus obtaining the spatial characteristics of the cultural ecological reserve and the stability of the cultural ecological reserve. This study was performed on the Yunnan Diqing’s national and cultural-ecological reserve. Result:This paper summarizes the spatial characteristics of diqing cultural ecology, and establishes the regional national cultural ecological protection zone. Conclusion:The cultural landscape identification and analysis method that was used in this study successfully determined the spatial characteristics and the stability of the cultural ecological reserves. These results provide a significant advantage for resource protection and sustainable development of the cultural ecological reserves.
