UDAIPUR'S AIR QUALITY CHECK
View through CrossRef
Air pollution is currently one of the biggest concerns for the environment in cities all over the world, especially in emerging countries where the economy and society are changing quickly. There is a lot of evidence that the air quality in India's big cities is getting worse. But cities of medium size, like Udaipur, are also displaying signs of pollution. Udaipur, a major tourist destination and educational center in southern Rajasthan, is under heightened environmental stress due to increased motor traffic, construction activity, and changes in land use. This chapter gives a detailed and organized look into Udaipur's air quality, covering atmospheric science, environmental monitoring, statistical analysis, and the effects on policy. The chat talks about the city's geography and weather, the main air pollutants and where they come from, how to keep an eye on them, how they change with the seasons and in different areas, how they affect health and the environment, and how to use physical, statistical, and machine learning models. We carefully look at ways to reduce the effects that fit with national and international policy frameworks. The chapter's goal is to be a complete academic resource for researchers, planners, and policymakers, and to add to the larger conversation about how to manage air quality in medium-sized Indian cities in a way that is sustainable.
Title: UDAIPUR'S AIR QUALITY CHECK
