The struggle and efforts of Miss. Mihri Müşfik in the establishment of İnas Sanayii Nefise School, which provides special art education to women and takes an important step in women's rights in a socio-cultural context, are admirable. The integration of art education into society took time; the number of students increased over time, and the public's interest gradually increased. The initial popularity of the foreign painters disappeared, and the painters sent to the West were appointed to Nefise schools. With the students trained in the following years, Turkish artists and especially female painters began to be recognized. Turkish artists and the integration of Turkish art developed into the global art scene, some of whom are even gone to Paris for further education. The curriculum and activities of İnas Sanayii Nefise School are detailed, and in addition to the strong knowledge of pattern, light, and color, the influence of Impressionism on the teachers' style is noteworthy. The difficulties encountered while giving art education to female students, such as the use of naked male models, were eliminated by Müşfik Hanım's sharp intelligence by using the naked torsos she brought from the Archeology Museum instead of the naked male model and by tying loincloths around the waists of these statues, and the male models were chosen from dressed and elderly people. Nefise School’s important archive information were removed from the inventory with fire incident, and not much information from that period could be found. However, according to the documents obtained, Nefise provided high-quality education, and shaped the future of Turkish art.
