Text according to Helsingborg in the art (1985): "The painting shows the central Helsingborg from one of the pavilions on the land. According to a printout on the back of a copy (cf. 583-49), the pavilion belonged to a jeweler Munthe. The copy is executed in 1843, which is why the original must be older. It is painted between the advent of 1830-32 years in the port and 1838, when a combined bath- and society-house was erected north of the new port.
