The impact of social responsibility, ethical infrastructure, capability building and consumer-centric ethics on Muslim consumers ethical marketing performance

View through CrossRef
The purpose of this study is to conceptualize the key ethical determinants of Islamic Ethical Marketing Performance by integrating existing theoretical perspectives and prior empirical insights. Specifically, the study focuses on consumer-centric ethics, ethical infrastructure, ethical capability building, and cultural and social responsibility to develop a coherent conceptual understanding of how ethical marketing performance can be strengthened within Islamic business contexts. Future empirical research based on the proposed conceptual framework will adopt a quantitative research approach. Data will be collected using a structured questionnaire targeting consumers in relevant Islamic market contexts. A cross-sectional research design will be employed to capture perceptions of ethical practices and marketing performance at a specific point in time. To examine the relationships between consumer-centric ethics, ethical infrastructure, ethical capability building, cultural and social responsibility, and Islamic Ethical Marketing Performance, multiple linear regression analysis will be used. This method is appropriate for assessing the direct influence of multiple independent variables on a single dependent variable. As a conceptual study, this paper does not involve primary data collection or statistical testing. Consequently, the proposed relationships are not empirically validated within this study. However, this limitation also presents an opportunity for future research to empirically examine the conceptual framework across different sectors, cultural settings, and time horizons. Future studies may employ longitudinal designs, experimental methods, or behavioral measures to extend and validate the conceptual arguments advanced in this paper.
