A transztiretin-amyloidosis specifikus terápiás lehetőségei

Az elmúlt időszakban látványosan alakult át a szisztémás amyloidosis epidemiológiája. Míg a könnyűlánc-amyloidosis továbbra is ritka, de stabil incidenciájú betegség, a gyulladásos betegségekhez társuló forma (AA) egyre ritkább, a transztiretin-amyloidosis (ATTR) mutációs és vad típusának incidenciája azonban rendkívül megnőtt a fejlett világban. Ezt a látványos növekedést az új, többféle támadópontú gyógyszerek megjelenése okozta fokozódó diagnosztikus éberséggel, valamint az egyszerűbb, könnyebben elérhető diagnosztikai módszerek elterjedésével lehet magyarázni. A közleményben összefoglaljuk a transztiretin-amyloidosis új, specifikus gyógyszeres terápiás lehetőségeit, valamint a közeljövőben várható új kezelési módszereket.
