Intimate Partner Violence: A Health-Based Perspective provides comprehensive, well-cited information for researchers, educators, practitioners, and policy leaders on the complex social and health threats of intimate partner violence. The textbook serves as a one-stop resource for scientists and practitioners in the social, health care, public health and legal arena who demand evidence-based insight and guidance. The chapters, written by leading scholars in the field, are organized around historical and policy perspectives, social justice constructs, trauma science, health impacts, intervention and prevention strategies.
