THE IMPACT OF ASSET STRUCTURE, DIVIDEND POLICY, AND SALES GROWTH ON STOCK PRICES (A STUDY ON PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE FROM 2020-2023)

Background: The structure of assets, dividend policies, and sales growth in relation to stock prices is conducted to understand the relationship between several factors that can influence the market value of stocks. This research is carried out with the aim of enhancing knowledge about the impact of asset structure, dividend policies, and sales growth on stock prices
Purpose: This study aims: (1) To determine the effect of asset structure on stock prices in Property and Real Estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019 - 2023; (2) To determine the effect of dividend policy on stock prices in Property and Real Estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019 - 2023; (3) To examine the effect of sales growth on stock prices in Property and Real Estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019 – 2023.
Design/methodology: The population in this study is a property and real estate company. The sample taken in this study amounted to 9 property and real estate companies. This study uses panel data regression analysis in the eviews application.
Findings /Result: The results of the study indicate that: Asset structure has no effect on stock prices in Property and Real Estate companies. Dividend policy has a positive and significant effect on stock prices in Property and Real Estate companies. Sales growth does not affect stock prices in Property and Real Estate companies. Simultaneously, asset structure, dividend policy and sales growth have a significant effect on stock prices in Property and Real Estate companies.
Conclusion: This study contributes to the understanding of the impact of asset structure, dividend policy, and sales growth on stock prices, specifically within the context of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023. This research provides a nuanced perspective on the factors driving stock performance in the real estate sector, highlighting the importance of dividends as a key driver for investor confidence.
Originality/Value: This research offers valuable insights into financial management and investment strategies for property and real estate firms. It emphasizes the significance of dividend policies in enhancing stock prices, providing a framework for managers and investors to develop effective strategies. The findings are expected to assist stakeholders in making informed decisions regarding investment opportunities, ultimately contributing to a more robust understanding of market dynamics in the Indonesian real estate sector.
