Findings revealed that performance appraisal systems have a strong positive relationship with employee effectiveness (R = 0.812), while the coefficient of determination (R² = 0.659) indicated that 65.9% of variations in employee effectiveness were explained by the independent variables. The result showed that the regression model was statistically significant (F = 222.731, p < 0.05). The regression coefficients further revealed that appraisal fairness (β = 0.362, p < 0.05), feedback quality (β = 0.417, p < 0.05), and appraisal frequency (β = 0.281, p < 0.05) all had positive and significant impacts on employee effectiveness. The study concluded that effective performance appraisal systems significantly enhance employee effectiveness in Federal Polytechnic, Mubi.
