Da Metafísica Do Capital: Revisitando Lucio Colletti (On the Metaphysics of Capital: Revisiting Lucio Colletti)

<b>Portuguese Abstract</b>: Segundo a perspetiva Marxista tradicional – do chamado "materialismo dialético" – toda e qualquer realidade (natural, física, social, etc.) é em si mesma contraditória, dialética, devendo a ciência ser baseada nessa mesma dialética "materialista". Lucio Colletti, pelo contrário, afirma que não é a realidade que é dialética mas é o capitalismo que é "metafísico": trata-se de uma realidade invertida, daí que o método dialético seja adequado para descrever esta sociedade. Assim, Colletti realça a unidade que se estabelece entre a teoria do fetichismo (ou alienação) e a teoria do valor de Marx, que constituem o instrumento analítico que este utiliza para estudar a anatomia e a estrutura da sociedade moderna. Colletti compreende ainda, como poucos, a centralidade do conceito de "trabalho abstrato" enquanto substância do capital. Mediante esta recuperação da crítica categorial – literalmente radical – de Marx, Colletti assume-se como um dos precursores da chamada "nova crítica do valor". <b>English Abstract</b>: According to the traditional Marxist perspective – of the so-called "dialectical materialism" – each and every reality (natural, physical, social, etc.) is in itself contradictory, dialectical, so that all science should ground itself on this "materialist" dialectics. Lucio Colletti, on its turn, claims that it isn’t reality that is dialectical but capitalism that is "metaphysical": it’s an inverted reality and that’s why the dialectical method is best suited to describe this society. Thus, Colletti emphasizes the unity between Marx’s theory of fetishism (or alienation) and Marx’s theory of value, which represent the analytical instrument he uses to study the anatomy and structure of modern society. Colletti also stresses the centrality of the concept of "abstract labor" as the substance of capital. Through this rediscovery of Marx’s categorial – literally radical – critique, Colletti is clearly one of the forerunners of the so-called "new value critique".
