O pensamento fermentário: Carlos Vaz Ferreira, leitor de Nietzsche*

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar e elucidar a filosofia de Nietzsche tal como interpretada pelo filósofo uruguaio Carlos Vaz Ferreira. Em primeiro lugar, trata-se de expor as conferências proferidas por Vaz Ferreira sobre Nietzsche em 1920, indicando as obras por ele citadas, as críticas então correntes acerca do pensador alemão, bem como a maneira adequada de lê-lo e as razões pelas quais essa leitura se torna necessária. Em segundo lugar, o artigo organiza-se em três seções que sintetizam a filosofia de Nietzsche segundo Vaz Ferreira: a saber, problemas do conhecimento, questões científicas e religiosas e, por fim, dilemas educativos e sociais.
