Bu bölümde, kedi ve köpeklerde görülen fungal dermatozlar kapsamlı şekilde ele alınmıştır. Dermatofitozis, Malassezia dermatiti, sporotrikozis, kriptokokkozis, kandidiyazis, phaeohyphomycosis, blastomikozis, koksidioidomikozis, histoplazmozis ve aspergillozis gibi mantar kaynaklı deri hastalıkları detaylı olarak açıklanmıştır. Her hastalık etiyoloji, bulaşma yolları, klinik bulgular, tanı yöntemleri ve tedavi yaklaşımları açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Bu enfeksiyonlar genellikle bağışıklık sistemi baskılanmış hayvanlarda görülmekle birlikte, zoonotik potansiyelleri nedeniyle halk sağlığı açısından da önem arz eder.
