La patience d’Athéna

Freud n’a jamais véritablement explicité le terme de perlaboration. En 1914, il définit la résistance comme son objet et insiste sur la patience exigée de l’analyste pour y parvenir. En 1926, il précise que la résistance visée par la perlaboration est celle de l’inconscient, exprimée par la contrainte de répétition. Le troisième volet de l’ Orestie d’Eschyle, Les Euménides , pourrait en illustrer le mécanisme au travers de la patience d’Athéna qui permet la transformation des Érinyes en Euménides.
