POTENCIAL DE ESTABELECIMENTO DA BRACHIARIA HÍBRIDA CULTIVAR MULATO II (CONVERT HD364) NO ESTADO DO TOCANTINS

Avaliou-se a produtividade e potencial de estabelecimento da Brachiaria híbrida cultivar Mulato II (Convert HD364), em comparação a suas matrizes. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados, em esquema fatorial 3x2x2 com dois tratamentos adicionais. O fatorial foi composto por três Brachiarias (B. híbrida cv. Mulato II, B. decumbens e B. ruziziensis), dois tratamentos de semente (incrustada e não incrustada) e dois níveis de adubação (0 e 120 kg.ha-1 de P2O5). Os tratamentos adicionais foram compostos pela Brachiarias brizantha cultivar Marandú sob os mesmos níveis de adubação, utilizando sementes não incrustadas. As médias calculadas foram baseadas em cinco cortes entre o período de fevereiro de 2012 e abril de 2013. Os resultados indicaram que o incrustamento de semente prejudica a emergência de plântulas, bem como a produção de matéria seca das Brachiarias híbridas cv. Mulato II (Convert HD364) e decumbens. A adubação fosfatada exerceu influência positivas sobre a produção de matérias seca total assim como no perfilhamento da planta. A B. híbrida cv. Mulato II não diferiu de suas matrizes mais produtivas em termo de produção de matéria seca quando se utilizou sementes não incrustadas, contudo sentiu o efeito dos níveis de fósforo, sob as condições de solo submetidas. Palavra-chave: pastagem, incrustamento, conservação de solo.   POTENTIAL ESTABLISHMENT OF BRACHIARIA HYBRID CULTIVAR MULATO II (CONVERT HD364) IN THE STATE OF TOCANTINS ABSTRACT We evaluated the productivity and potential establishment of Brachiaria hybrid cultivar Mulato II (Convert HD364), compared to their mothers. The experimental design was randomized blocks, factorial 3x2x2 with two additional treatments. The factor was composed of three Brachiaria (B. hybrid cv. Mulato II, B. decumbens and B. ruziziensis), two seed treatments (embedded and not embedded) and two fertilization levels (0 and 120 kg.ha-1 P2O5). Additional treatments consisted of Brachiarias brizantha Marandú under the same levels of fertilization, using seed not embedded. The averages were calculated based on five harvests in the period between February 2012 and April 2013. Results indicated that the fouling seed affect seedling emergence, as well as the dry matter production of Brachiaria hybrid cv. Mulato II (Convert HD364) and decumbens. Phosphorus fertilization exerted positive influence on the production of dry materials like plant at tillering. B. The hybrid cv. Mulato II did not differ from their mothers more productive in terms of dry matter production when using embedded seeds not yet felt the effect of phosphorus levels under conditions of soil submitted.
