Danish sculptor and draughtsman Jørgen Haugen Sørensen passed away in the fall of 2021 in his beautiful 15th century mansion overlooking the Ligurian Sea. He was 87 at the time of his death, and he was almost unanimously considered the greatest sculptor to come out of Denmark since Bertel Thorvaldsen.
