La presente investigación inicia con el objetivo de identificar la historia de amor entre el poeta español Juan Ramón Jiménez y José Gálvez Barrenechea. El enfoque presentado es el cualitativo con método hemerográfico y biográfico. El principal resultado encontramos cuando José Gálvez escribió hermosas cartas de admiración bajo el sonoro nombre de Georgina Hübner con el propósito de obtener el libro de poesías Arias tristes de autoría de Juan Ramón Jiménez. Este acontecimiento encendió las pasiones del poeta de Moguer quien estuvo a punto de zarpar a nuestras costas del Callao en 1904, tan solo para conocer a su musa y proponerle matrimonio. Concluimos el estudio manifestando que la historia de amor entre el poeta español Juan Ramón Jiménez y José Gálvez Barrenechea fue posible cuando este último escribió bajo el nombre de Georgina Hübner.
