Minister of the HOLY EUAN GELIANS. / He was called at AMERONGEN 1764. at WAGENINGEN 1767. at SCHIEDAM 1769, and last at / AMSTELDAM 1772. deceased at GRONINGEN den 7 MAY 1782. Inscriptions and textual elements: Clarisse, 's Sky's Friend; had this amiable creature / Received, that from it every one would read his wise policy, / His soul and ingenuity, his love and humility, / His God'-engaged mind, his sawn heart. / In four churches, last in the church, his light shone; / In the town of Grunoos, unfortunately, it went down at noon: / Many souls are a crown for this salvation-affirmer, / And pure truth remains committed to his pen. / J: C: Mohr.
