Intonation peculiarities of enumeration in the interfered Russian speech of the Evenks

View through CrossRef
The paper aims to identify the acoustic features of intonation intonation contour in narrative utterances with enumeration in the interfered Russian speech of the Evenks. The material for the study included utterances taken from spontaneous monologues and dialogues of female speakers for who Evenki is the titular language. PRAAT was used for acoustic measurements. The paper presents the data of a comparative analysis of the pitch range of neutral narrative utterances and utterances with enumeration, as well as the range of the segment containing enumeration. As a result, insignificant differences were found in the obtained data which is typical of the intonation system of the Evenki. The intonation of emphasized elements of enumeration is manifested by duplicating mostly the rising pitch movement. In some cases, there is a level tone on the stressed vowels in enumerations indicating the presence of intonation interference. Pauses between enumerated elements are optional, duration of pauses varies considerably.
