People’s school teacher Jonas Dahlgren, born in Utterhogdal. He was the first teacher in ÖrHan sen and Han sjö, in addition he was a teacher in Ängersjö 7 weeks per year 1885 and 1886. He was avid gardener and laid several small gardens in different places in the forest, around the villages he was living in. Among other things, he made a spice garden a few kilometers from Gåssjö village, towards Utrihogdal counted. That place is called today (1987) “Season.” After his retirement, he moved to Storång and devoted himself to knitting sweaters and veils with sleeve patterns, and was called “Stick-Jonte.” Finally, he came to the retirement home in Utterhogdal, where he finished his days.
